WordPress development for Philadelphia businesses

New websites and carefully planned rebuilds, with one developer accountable for the details. I help small businesses in Greater Philadelphia and beyond turn their content and goals into WordPress sites they can keep using.

A website built around your business

Start with what the site needs to do: explain your services, support inquiries, publish useful content, or make routine updates easier.

New WordPress websites

Clear page structure, responsive design, and reusable editing patterns. I build the pages visitors see and the content system you will use to keep them current.

Redesigns and rebuilds

A practical path for an outdated WordPress site. I review the existing content, theme, plugins, and integrations before deciding what to keep, improve, or replace.

Migration planning

Content inventories, URL mapping, staging, and launch checks help make a move manageable. If you are considering leaving a website builder, read the migration planning guide before choosing the new setup.

Performance, technical SEO, accessibility checks, and editing usability belong in the project scope from the start. Ongoing support can be discussed alongside the build.

WordPress work, with the details

These projects show two different starting points: a new professional website and a complex publication rebuild.

From the first conversation to launch

I bring more than 20 years across website development and digital production to the work, with hands-on experience in WordPress, publishing, and web operations.

Understand the existing site

We establish the goal, audience, content, required features, and what needs to change. For a rebuild, that includes the current URLs and integrations.

Define the build

We agree on pages, functionality, content responsibilities, and launch needs. The editing approach should fit the people who will maintain the website.

Build, review, and test

Review the site in staging, check layouts on phones and larger screens, and validate the agreed content, navigation, forms, and integrations.

Launch with a handoff

Plan redirects and hosting changes where needed, check the live result, and document how to edit and support the site.

Before we get started

How much does a WordPress website cost?

The scope drives the estimate: the number and variety of pages, design needs, content readiness, integrations, and any migration work. Send the current website and a short description of the goal so we can define what the project needs.

Will I be able to edit the website?

Yes. Editable content is part of the build. We decide which pages and reusable sections you need to maintain, then make those tasks clear in WordPress and the handoff.

Can a redesign preserve search visibility?

Keeping useful content, mapping changed URLs, and checking search settings can reduce migration risk. Rankings can still fluctuate; no redesign or migration comes with a guaranteed Google position.

Do you work outside Philadelphia?

Yes. I am based in Philadelphia and work with businesses across Greater Philadelphia and remotely throughout the country.
