I am a senior WordPress developer and web operations leader based in Philadelphia. I currently lead development and maintenance for more than 45 active client websites, and I have delivered over 20 full WordPress builds, rebuilds and migrations.
It Started in a Newsroom
My first web work was in online publishing, producing daily content on deadline. That environment taught me how content systems get used, where editorial workflows break, and why the publishing tool matters as much as the page it produces.
From there the work expanded through digital publishing, real estate, consumer web products, interactive development, digital marketing and graphic design before settling into WordPress development and website operations.
Why the Range Matters
A website is two things at once: the thing visitors see, and the operational system that keeps it alive. Having worked across content, design, development, performance, accessibility, SEO, hosting, security, analytics and delivery coordination, I understand how those parts connect.
In practice that means I can scope a redesign and also run the migration, write the technical task and also review what came back, diagnose a Core Web Vitals problem and also explain it to a stakeholder who does not care what LCP stands for.
How I Work Now
Day to day I am the technical partner between account management and the websites themselves. I triage incoming development requests, resolve what I should handle directly, write specifications for what goes to external developers, and review the result before it reaches a client. Alongside that I run the ongoing operations work: performance, accessibility, security, hosting, integrations and monthly maintenance across the portfolio.
I use AI tooling heavily in that workflow, for code generation, debugging, documentation and analysis. I treat it as a multiplier on judgement, not a replacement for it.
The Work I Enjoy
I enjoy work that brings design and technical problem-solving together: giving an outdated website a clearer direction, making a content-heavy publication easier to manage, or finding what is slowing a site down. Silky Paws is a favorite for its use of color, movement, and personality.
