A complete ecommerce rebuild replacing an unsupported legacy WordPress theme with a modern Elementor and WooCommerce implementation, including migration and preservation of the site’s existing product catalog.
Overview
Cottage Home Furniture was operating on an aging WordPress theme that was no longer adequately supported. The project involved rebuilding the ecommerce website on a modern WordPress foundation using Elementor while preserving and migrating its extensive existing product catalog.
My Contribution
I built the new WordPress and WooCommerce website using Elementor and helped manage the migration of the existing product catalog. Particular attention was given to maintaining relationships between products and their corresponding content so the new site represented a complete transition from the previous version.
I have also supported ongoing development, troubleshooting, maintenance, performance, security, forms, email deliverability, and marketing email templates.
